Best Tips for Cafe World

January 23rd, 2010

For most of my life I have depended on others to help me out in my endeavours. Even though I enjoy computer games, I don't really have any natural talent, but I have never let that stop me.

The game I am playing right now is Cafe World over at Facebook. I love serving the customers that come in my door whatever dish I feel like. It is sure different than working in a restaurant in real life, which makes it even more fun.

I sure didn't do so well in the game when I first started out. There were so many times that I had rotten food and I wasted a lot of time and money making the wrong things. I was able to find a Cafe World strategy guide, made all the difference for me.

It was my formula for success.

In fact, buying a guide was the best thing for me. I don’t know how I would have done on the game without it.

Pressuring my Friends to Blog

November 27th, 2009

Ever since I started blogging, I have been trying to get everyone I know on the bandwagon. It has been a process and I have had more and more of my friends come over to the blogging side.

One of my latest friends to start blogging is Stacie Gardner. She is a young entrepreneur, beautiful and a great friend. In fact, I met her in college and we have been best friends ever since.

Maybe I could have made money off of my friends by offering them hosting or something like that, but now it is too late. I guess I'll have to be smarter next time.

I Love my Electric Fly Swatter

August 20th, 2009

Flies are one of the things that bothers me the most in the world. I just hate how they buzz around my house and keep me awake while I am trying to go to sleep.

So, today I bought an electric fly swatter to get rid of the flies once and for all. I have begun my war against the flies, and almost ten have died by my hand so far.

I wish I had known about these sooner and I will be depending on my electronic fly swatter for many years to come.

Doing something for our Kids

August 19th, 2009

Though my wife would prefer that we spend all of our money on jewelry, we have decided that it is important to do something for the future of our children. Now, I am not talking about saving money or anything like that, but instead I want to talk about recycling.

We have bought recycling bins to make recycling easier. It will be good to do something that is good for the environment for a change.

Finding a Bicyle Trailer

July 7th, 2009

I find great excitement in finding a good deal. That means that I take my time when I am shopping and I find myself going to garage sales more often than not. I like the fact that I can save money while having fun.

What I did today was a good example of my love for deal hunting. We looked at a lot of garage sales to find a good deal on a bicycle trailer and buy SuperNintendo games. There was definitely a possibility of finding what we were looking for, but with garage sales there are never guarantees.

Unfortunately, we were not able to find what we were searching for, so we will have to go look again next week. I am sure we can find some good deals next week.

Shopping with my Wife

July 4th, 2009

My wife and I have been going out on dates once per week for years. The date does not have to be elaborate and quite often we find ourselves going out for supper and sometimes a movie.

We did not make it to our movie this week as we had some shopping to do. My wife said she needed hair straightener and I needed to get our daughter some Magic the Gathering decks for a birthday present.

Somehow we were able to find time to make it to the movie after all the shopping. Life would not be the same if we did not fit our date time in.

Bowling Balls as Birthday Presents

June 30th, 2009

I have decided that I will buy my brother a birthday present this year but I do not know what to get him. He is hard to shop for and unfortunately, I do not have any idea as to what to get him.

Thanks to his wife, I now have an idea of what to buy. She suggested that I get him some Ebonite bowling balls as he loves bowling. I am hoping that I can find some online as it will be much easier. I just hope he likes them.

Using a Free Proxy Website Away from Home

June 29th, 2009

I am worried that when I use a public computer that someone could get my passwords and steal my identity. I make sure just to check my email and I never try to access my bank account or other sensitive information while I am not at home.

When I asked the guy in the IT department at work what I should do, he suggested that I try to use a freeproxywebsite while I am using a public computer online. I am going to try out the one that he recommended to me, and hopefully no one ever steals my identity.

Needing Reading Glasses

June 21st, 2009

Lately, I have been having troubles reading the paper and pretty much everything else. This is not only embarassing, but it a sign that I am getting old, and that makes me very sad.

I spend my money on a pair of scojo reading glasses to help with my vision. It sure is nice to read again, and it looks like I will be using these reading glasses for awhile. Sure beats being blind.

Weird Musical Choices by my Child

June 19th, 2009

Sometimes my daughter confuses me. Most of the time, her actions are just not what I think they will be. In fact, sometimes I get a little confused by who she is, but I love her just the same.

A good example would be her selection of music today on our trip to soccer. I told her that we could listen to music on the way so she brought her MP3 player along. Imagine my surprise when I heard a song by Merle Haggard could follow a rock and roll song by Nickelback. Her choices were not related, but I guess it was just a reflection of her chaotic nature.
